About The App Zoo

The Atomic Workshop Initiative

The App Zoo is a lab of AI-generated exhibits built by Natnlabs. Each app ships as its own Vite bundle on a dedicated subdomain while the shell runs on Next.js. No accounts, no paywalls - just quick experiments you can launch instantly.

Operating Principles

  • Isolated exhibits with shared ZooLayout for consistent navigation
  • AI-generated code is sanitized, typed, and wrapped with our UI kit
  • Instrumentation is lightweight (page views + feature usage), no user accounts

🔬 What is This?

The App Zoo is a curated collection of AI-generated micro-applications. Each app was prototyped using Google AI Studio and refined into production-ready React applications. It's an experiment in rapid AI-assisted development.

🤖 AI-Powered Development

Apps are generated using Google Gemini, then ingested into our monorepo structure. The “vibe code” is sanitized, structured into components, and wrapped in our shared UI framework for consistent styling and navigation.

🎪 The Exhibit Model

Each app runs as an isolated “exhibit” on its own subdomain. This allows independent deployment, experimentation, and scaling while sharing a common design language through the ZooLayout component.
